Rail Baltica Central Station, Riga, LV-1050

ULMA Architectural Solutions’ Hydro+ system was used in the Rail Baltica Central Station project in Riga. The solution formed part of the site’s stormwater management infrastructure, supporting the controlled collection and handling of rainwater in areas connected with the new transport hub.

Rail Baltica Central Station is a complex urban infrastructure project involving railway, pedestrian, public transport and surrounding access areas. In this type of environment, effective drainage is important for maintaining safe movement, protecting paved surfaces and supporting the long-term performance of the built infrastructure.

The Hydro+ system was applied where enhanced surface water management was required. It supports the collection and regulation of rainwater, helping to reduce uncontrolled runoff and limit the risk of water accumulation during periods of heavy rainfall.
