ULMA Architectural Solutions’ MultiV+ 200 and F250 polymer-concrete drainage channels were used in the construction project for the Tram Depot in Riga. The systems formed part of the site’s surface water drainage infrastructure, helping to collect and direct rainwater from paved operational areas, access routes and vehicle circulation zones.
The MultiV+200 channel was applied in areas requiring a wider linear drainage solution with reliable hydraulic capacity. Its 200 mm internal width and V-shaped profile support efficient water flow and help reduce sediment accumulation, contributing to easier maintenance during long-term operation.
The F250 channel was used where greater hydraulic performance and stronger load-bearing capacity were required. As part of ULMA’s Civil-F range, it is suitable for demanding paved areas exposed to service traffic, maintenance vehicles and operational loads.
For a tram depot, effective drainage is important to maintain safe movement, protect paved surfaces and support uninterrupted daily operations. By combining MultiV+200 and F250 systems, the project could address different drainage requirements across the site.
Overall, the use of ULMA drainage solutions contributed to reliable stormwater management and durable infrastructure at the Tram Depot in Riga.
