ExPorto, Yacht Club & Leisure Complex, Riga

ULMA Architectural Solutions’ MultiV+ polymer-concrete drainage channels were used in the ExPorto Yacht Club and Multifunctional Leisure Complex project in Riga. The system formed part of the site’s surface water management infrastructure, helping to collect and direct rainwater from pedestrian, service and paved outdoor areas.

The MultiV+ range is suitable for projects where reliable linear drainage, hydraulic efficiency and durability are required. Its V-shaped channel profile supports efficient water flow and helps reduce sediment accumulation, making it appropriate for public and semi-public outdoor environments such as waterfront leisure areas, access routes and paved zones around buildings.

For a yacht club and leisure complex, effective drainage is important for maintaining safe and comfortable movement across the site, especially in areas exposed to rain, changing weather conditions and regular pedestrian activity. The polymer-concrete construction provides strength, dimensional stability and resistance to outdoor wear, while compatible grating options allow the system to be adapted to the design and load requirements of different areas.

The use of MultiV+ channels helped support the long-term functionality of the ExPorto site by improving stormwater collection and reducing the risk of water accumulation on paved surfaces.

Overall, ULMA’s MultiV+ solution contributed to the development of durable, accessible and well-managed outdoor infrastructure at the ExPorto Yacht Club and Multifunctional Leisure Complex in Riga.
