The program needs only a handful of project inputs to model reality and carry out the study: the length of each line, the catchment areas, the slopes, and the run-off coefficients for every surface involved.
Accuracy
Rather than relying on the simplified formulas commonly applied in the industry, the software models how water actually moves through the channels using Spatially Varied Flow with Increasing Discharge for Open Channels. This approach captures the real behaviour of the water far more faithfully.

Rainfall data can be entered for any location on the planet, multiple channel lines can be calculated within a single project, and the right product can be identified among hundreds of references in ULMA’s wide-ranging catalogue, filtered by height, width, cross-section, load class, and other defining features.
Lower costs
The tool drives down the cost of each channel line by choosing the most suitable channel for the job, determining the precise position of intermediate outlets, and working out the exact arrangement of channels in a cascaded-slope configuration.
Comprehensive reporting
The end product is a detailed report listing the references and dimensions of every channel required, along with the water depth, fill percentages, flow rates, and velocities for each line in the project — everything needed to validate the drainage design.
